Pastor of Union Park United Methodist Church & Family
Pastor Lee Webb and his wife Cathy came to Union Park United Methodist Church July 1, 2006. Lee has served churches in Iowa since 1976 (serving 2 churches in St. Louis during seminary). Lee graduated from Morningside College in Sioux city (where Cathy and Lee met) in 1978 with a degree in Religion and Psychology. He received a Masters of Divinity degree from Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis in 1982. Lee has a passion for Jesus Christ, helping people grow closer to Christ, music, United Methodist camping, mission, fixing things, and having fun.
Cathy is a graduate of Morningside College, where she received her degree in Religion and Psychology. She also is a graduate of Upper Iowa University, where she received her teaching degree in Elemantary Education.
Cathy is employed as a Program Assistant at the Partnership for Prevention Sciences at ISU.
Lee and Cathy have two grown sons, one in California and the other in Iowa.
Together Pastor Lee and Cathy bring a variety of gifts in making disciples for Jesus Christ. It would be their privilege to welcome you to our worship service and into our faith community.
Here you will see that Jesus Christ is lifted up and that you will be drawn to Him. “Who I am” is not important. “Who He is” is the most important thing.
Choir Director for Union Park United Methodist Church
"I invite high school youth to join our chancel choir and to share their other musical talents. I would like to invite anyone who would like to sing with our chancel choir or play in our handbell choir to come and join us. As the daughter of a pastor, I believe that music is an integral part of our staff and church family!"
Virginia's real passion is for teaching and from her rich background in music, she wants to incorporate instruments, the bell choir, and children's choir into the music for our Worship Services.
