Youth Events

Our mission statement is;  To make Disciples of Christ through Devotions, Community Service and Fellowship.  We have weekly devotions with dinner Sunday evenings at 6:00pm. 

Included with the devotions are bible studies and relevant teen topics. 

We do community service projects locally which include Hope Ministries and the Animal Rescue league.  We also travel for service projects with trips to Kentucky for Appalachian Service Project and our summer project to Cedar Rapids, Iowa for flood relief in July 2009. 

Our fellowship times are anytime we can get together just to hang out in our youth room, plan a worship service or travel to our next project.

YOUTH NEWS:

A big thank you for all that helped with donations of food, money and time for our Cedar Rapids mission trip. 

We had a great time in Cedar Rapids.  The need is so great in that area.  House after house and street after street are still in great need of repair.  We only saw just a small portion of the devastation but the work we did touched us all.

The best words to sum up our trip were - our mission was to help rebuild houses but our accomplishment was far greater than that - we gave back a HOME. Thank you for being a part of that.        - Becky Potts
